Abhai has over 20 year’s senior experience across a range of service industries. He has extensive experience in all areas of finance, including corporate finance, financial management, risk, governance and control. He managed a multiple-billion pound transactions and major systems and change programmes, both in UK and abroad. Abhai was a Director in the Risk practice at Big 4 firm, where his focus was the financial services sector.
He is a chartered Management Accountant, with an academic background in computer science. He is an FSA approved person and holds the IoD Certificate in Company Direction.
Abhai is currently a non-executive director of Leeds Building Society and Kettering General Hospital as well as Chairman of Alexander Rosse. He is also a governor of Northampton College and a trustee advisor to four charities. In his role at Alexander Rosse, Abhai helps accelerate the growth of SMEs across all sectors. He gives strategic and corporate finance advice to clients and takes an active interest in their development.
Rash isn't your typical Chartered Accountant. As one of the co founders of Alexander Rosse he's an entrepreneur at heart and is passionate about technology and ideas and has the ability to hone in on what works and what doesn't.
He holds a first class honours degree in Maths & Management from King's College, London and has nearly 20 years’ experience in public practice and industry and commerce with leading blue chip companies. He has a successful and proven track record of delivery on corporate finance transactions (acquisitions, disposals and fund raising), with a particular focus on high growth SME's within the e-commerce and start up sphere. Most recently Rashesh has developed subject matter expertise in cloud based accounting systems such as Xero and is often called in for specialist interim FD and corporate finance work.
When Rash is not working he's on the football pitch or spending time with his beautiful wife and children and is aiming to take flying lessons shortly.
Practice Manager, Abel Asiamah, is a fully qualified Chartered Certified accountant, who has many years of experience working with clients in the SME sector. Abel is currently studying towards his Chartered Tax Advisor qualification.
When he is not studying or working he enjoys socialising with his friends. Abel has a special interest in astronomy and space technology. He aims to retire early and buy a beach house in the Seychelles.
Accounts Assistant, Gita Mistry, has around 20 years of experience working within the accounting and finance industry. When she is not working she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children and as a part time hobby, Gita also spends her spare time as bridal hair and makeup artist.
When Gita ultimately retires she would love to be able to help children in need around the world.
